Yarntopia

When we saw these kits at market we knew we had to try them.  The kit comes with a hand dyed silk scarf, silk ribbon, and irridescent fibers add needle felting tools and you are set for fun.

This is my project for the day.  I am very excited.  The picture on the kits shows random flowers but you can do most anything that makes you happy.  I think I will use the brown ribbon to create a vine and use the other colors for flowers and leaves.  After the needle felting is done the scarves are gently ironed to set everything including the irridescent bits of fiber.   This will be in the store by Wednesday (maybe sooner if I can't tear myself away!). 

I am also offering this as a class in August - and the class will be FREE with the purchase of the kit.  The technique is very easy and requires so little instruction I can't justify charging for it;  we'll just gather and have fun together.
